In this episode, I sat down with Alexis Keto, who’s the Head Coach for New Trier Swimming, on the north side of Chicago, IL. Alexis has coached at the college level at a couple D1 schools, and in 3 different LSCs as a club coach, and has also been involved with the Governance side of the sport wherever she’s gone; she’s been a delegate to the USA-Swimming Convention several times and also served in a few National Committees.

On top of that, she’s clearly an awesome coach and I’m SO glad I asked her to stop by and visit her. As you’ll hear right from the beginning of the interview, I had a great time visiting NTA right from the get go: the entire staff and the swimmers in all groups were super welcoming and open to new ideas and feedback, and Alexis was also an incredible host in showing me around parts of Chicago I had not been to before.

To top it off, I think this interview turned out as great as I could have hoped for. Alexis’ wide-ranging experience and skills as a coach and team administrator really made it for a great conversation. As always, it’s available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and directly with the player below.
