In this episode, I sat down with Mike Koleber, who’s the founder and owner of Nitro Swimming in Austin, Texas. Prior to founding Nitro, Mike worked as a coach and swim teacher in three different states, including very near my current home in Georgia, and he also had a career away from swimming.
As you’re about to hear from him, he still gravitates towards working with the entry levels of the sport on a day to day basis, but also has a club that operates on the highest competitive levels.
Mike is also yet another guest that, on top of his day to day work as a coach, is deeply involved in governance, currently serving as the president of the ASCA Board of Directors, which we did get to talk about in more detail as well.
There’s much more to this conversation, and it’s better if you hear from Mike than from me! As always, it’s available on Spotify, Google Podcasts, iTunes, Pandora, and directly with the player below.
